I had never been to Dundas before but have now been 3 times in one week! I was sure going from Dundas St (I live in Burlington) down Sydenham to the core of Du...ndas ON would be the death me (ears popped, rode my brakes all the way down the hill and felt like the little-car-that-would trying to go back up).. I finally got to the bottom and easily found my destination Deluxe Bangkok Spoon such an easy ordering and pick up experience what a great start they even chuckled when I said I came down Sydenham.. sigh. Ok - food! I ordered the puffed shrimp appetizer (I haven’t had this in at least a year - so great!), beef satay, fresh rolls/shrimp spring rolls and finally the dish that I judge and compare all others Pad Thai. Shrimp appy- delish (almost compare to a Thai natcho and chips), who doesn’t love a shrimp spring and fresh roll exactly as promised! The beef satay came with a mini salad underneath which I found to be a bit sweet and delicious and unsuspecting in a good way (don’t discard as garnish!).. and the PadThai with shrimp and chicken... very tasty nice and light, not greasy, and with plenty of protein in the mix with plenty of flavour. It took a lot to deviate from my favourite spot in Oakville after so many years, but I think my spot has met their westward match with Deluxe Bangkok Spoon!
