Dear Bangladeshi Community members, Hope we are all staying safe and sound during this uncertain times. We are also very grateful that we have had very few Covid-19 cases among our Bangladeshi community members in Calgary and surroundings, and It is because we have been following the safety protocols outlined by Alberta Health Services. Nevertheless, the number of Covid-19 cases is on the rise, and we might have a very difficult Winter ahead of us. In this challenging time, w...e want to remind you that follow the Alberta Health guidelines strictly to keep yourself and your family safe. BCAOC is standing by you and please contact us if you need help with anything. We would also like to remind that it is time to renew your annual 2021 (January to December) membership. The membership fee for an individual is $10. The life-time membership fee is $500. We fully understand if you have been experiencing financial difficulties in this uncertain time. Keeping that in mind, we do not want to give you an extra burden. You can pay your membership at a suitable time convenient for you. However, we sincerely request those who are in comfortable financial condition to pay their annual membership fees. As you aware, the BCAOC incurs significant monthly expenses in things like maintaining the Bangladesh Center, pay utilities and condo fees, Bangla School, organize any possible events within the given health guidelines. We have been providing our financial status in the E-newsletter on a regular basis. Without this yearly contributions from the members of our community in terms of membership fees, it will be very hard for BCAOC to continue its operations smoothly. Hence, we will be grateful if you kindly pay your membership fees at your earliest convenience.
