Happy 16th anniversary to us! On September 12, 2004 the Grand Opening Sunday of the Beacon Baptist Church of Welland was held. The church began with two services that Sunday, one at 10:30 and the other at 6:00. That first Sunday there were 44 in attendance. We thank God for all that He has done for us and look forward to great things ahead.

Baby dedication this coming Sunday (September 6, 2020) at Beacon Baptist. Baby dedication is a ceremony in which believing parents make a public commitment before the Lord to raise that child according to God's Word and God's ways. Baby dedication is NOT infant baptism (also known as Christening), nor does it have anything to do with the child's salvation. It is a commitment and declaration on the part of the parents to raise their child in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
