These girls sure stand out in the herd. Top picture is a 3 year old cow, bottom is a bred heifer. Same black angus dam (the only black angus on the farm) both sired by Bar 33 Bodacious. Three years in a row we have gotten black roan heifers off that duo. Excited to see what this year brings!

We’ve all been there! I remember Dad telling us that he had to jump from the bale onto the loader of the tractor to avoid being killed by a Momma. For weeks after she hunted him down every time he’d go into the pen. Safe to say she hit the road real quick when the time was right.

Speaking of favourites... Bar 33 Pansy 9B! She’s been bred to Bar 33 Bodacious year after year and continually comes out with a record calf. Pictured left is Bar 33 Rose 6D, another exceptional cow. Thick, fancy, quiet and incredible maternal instincts.
