I’m happy to announce that my short story NIGHT FOLK, which appeared in the November 2020 issue of Galaxy’s Edge Magazine, is eligible for an Aurora Award in the Short Story category. Please take a look at the story, and when nominations open on March 6, consider nominating it. Copies of the entire magazine may be obtained from a variety of places. Links are available for both electronic and paper copies of the magazine at https://www.galaxysedge.com/... To nominate (March 6-April 17, 2021), just visit the CSFFA webpage at https://prixaurorawards.ca/ . You must be a member to nominate ($10/yr). BIG PERK--Members will get copies of all the novels and stories that make the final ballot. That's a LOT of excellent reading. For more information, send me an email or a private message via Facebook. Many thanks!
Cool interview with some good info on people and publishing.
Is this really entirely true? I'd like to ask a big, old, round, black fortune-telling 8-ball. "English linguists have shown that adjectives absolutely have to be in this order: opinion-size-age-shape-colour-origin-material-purpose... And then the noun. English speakers know this without being aware of it."
Here's a comment that might be interesting to anyone writing mythic fiction!
