This image shows three full years of tracking a single male Rough-legged Hawk. These incredible tracks show just how far these birds travel! First captured whil...e on migration in Montana on Oct 10, 2017, as a 2-year-old, this hawk has provided 15,866 GPS locations to add to the world's largest dataset on this important species. It literally flew up to the far ... far north of Canada (tip of the Northwest Passage), then headed west to parts of the Northwest Territories and back down to Colorado - unbelievable! COVID COMPLIANCE: We are more than just a business. We care about our community and wish to see it thrive. As a result of the COVID crisis, we have implemented a COVID compliance policy, which is available on our website. - A maximum of 25 people are allowed on our property as of the September 2020 provincial gathering limit change... - We are currently not open to the public. All visitors must book an appointment - During the booking process, we record the name, address, and phone number of all attendees. - Personal data about visitors is securely stored on hosting servers. Staff and Volunteers do not have access to personal client data. - We are an outdoor facility, and masks are welcome, but not required. - We have installed a "COVID Compliance station" which advises individuals to stay 2m apart, and encourages people to sanitise their hands - Instructors wear masks when needing to interact with visitors closer than 2m - Between visiting clients, all equipment is washed with alcohol. Including, but not limited to: arrows [with the exception of feather fletching], bows, knives, axes, etc.
