I wrote these lyrics on the weekend. I made a massive life change to move out of the city to live in the countryside and it’s really made me think. what is our true nature? What do we aspire to? I sat down to create last night, i find that just 20 mins a day forgetting everything to concentrate on pure creation is a good thing to do. Ive been thinking a lot about how to teach songwriting so if your reading this and want to try writing a song you seriously need to not try to hard, spend time at your instument, record lots of demos on your phone....play around with melodies and rhythms... live the song as if you’re addicted .....and then it will come to you.... you’ll ...know Last night i sat down and let my fingers do the creating whilst trying not to engage my mind. 1 hour later this is what came out of this experiment.... The words ‘out of sight, out of mind, sat waiting for you’ blurted out.... so i’m using these as a basis to turn the sketch into a story... using lyrics that listeners can add their own spin/emotions to.... #songwriting #piano #creation #sketchesofsongs #practice #healingsong #whomovedtoatlanta #songcrafter
