Hello, my name is Jena Barefoot, and I run a daycare out of my home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I am currently full from the hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm. I do have availability for overnights and weekends, for those of you who work shift work. I am CPR and first aid certified, and so is my 14 year old daughter who is here most of the time. We have 1.5 dogs and 2 kittens we just welcomed into our home 2.5 weeks ago. I say 1.5 dogs as one travels back and forth every 2 weeks with my daughter to her Dad's. (Yes, shared custody of the dog!! Haha) If you, or someone you may know is looking for afternoon/overnight/weekend care, please message me. If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask. Here at Barefoot's Daycare, we are a furry friendly house. Zoey and Jewels have been with us since the start, but last night, we added 2 more friends to our fun little house. I'd like you to meet Naya and Nico, our two new kitten friends. Naya and Nico were adopted from Woodstock Kitten Nursery and Rescue. They are approximately 10-12 weeks old. They are not siblings, but are best of friends!! We look forward to seeing them grow and bond with everyone here and make their permanent place in our house.

Hello there, how is everyone doing in this brand new world?? Lol Well, I'd like to try to keep everyone informed as much as possible. Currently, I am full for daytime hours, before and after school hours as well. I do have availability from 5pm - 6am, along with weekends. Now I have started to take more weekends off to try and have somewhat of a life, but I am still working a fair amount of them. If you or anyone you may know are looking for those crazy hours, send them my way!!!

I'm sorry I haven't posted here in a while, but there really hasn't been anything to report. I am currently full for day shift. I do have availability for afternoons and overnights. I have started taking more weekends off to have some personal time. I have been receiving a lot of inquiries into the school year as to whether I have space or not. Unfortunately, I cannot answer that until I know exactly what is going on with the school year. This is all new to us, and until I know what is happening, I do not know if I will have space or not. As soon as things get figured out, I will post here for those looking for availability. Thank you everyone for your support and understanding.

This week at Barefoot's Daycare, we are starting to prep our Father's Day gifts. Really looking forward to seeing the end results. These kids are very creative. It feels good having a full house again. I do however look forward to things going back to normal and seeing all the kiddos. I will update come September if I have any availability. Right now there are too many unknowns. Hope all are dping well.
