Just wanted to take a moment to update everyone on our reopening. Our Premier announced today that parts of Ontario will move onto Stage 2 as of Friday June 12th. Staying home, I cant help but think of all the ladies I miss working with and all of the amazing clients Ive built incredible relationships with over the years. Bare is my baby, my first store I opened 6 and 1/2 years ago!! It was such a scary and exciting time. My husband, family and friends helped in every way they could before I opened. It started with just me, working the desk and waxing. Slowly I added one waxer at a time, then finally someone on the desk a year later ...lol, then opened @buffednailbar and finally our 2nd Bare location on the East Mountain. There is now a team of 30 people and I cant help but feel all of those same feelings I felt 6.5 years ago. The unknown of what we are facing now. How long will this last? What will our new way of life look like after we come out of this? I just hope everyone is staying healthy and safe during this time. I miss you all xoxo @ Bare Wax Bar See more

We have put a lot of thought behind this decision and we want to put the health and safety of our employees and clients first. We will be closed for 2 weeks, with the plan of reopening Monday March 30th. I will update on here if things change. We hope everyone understands Xoxo

We are a Wax Bar that has always kept cleanliness as top of mind, so our disinfecting and sanitizing routine remains the same. -we wear new disposable gloves during every service -fresh medical paper rolled out for every service -disinfectant used to wipe all services touched after service completion -each esthetician has a minimum of 2 sets of tools, to allow for sanitizing between services. ... There are some additional steps we will be taking during this time -we will not be offering threading during this time. The service includes putting the thread in the estheticians mouth, and we want to avoid any contact. You can have your brows and lip tweezed instead of threaded during this time -because of the close proximity to clients faces during services, to avoid spread of illness, estheticians will be wearing a face mask during each service. -our desk team will be wearing gloves in addition to the rest of the team We will continue to follow the recommended guidelines provided by the Public Health Agency of Canada
