The CBC covered online shopping and what happens to free returns. This year when you are purchasing online think about supporting local independent small business. Many are online or going online lets support our local economy first.

I can admit, as a woman entrepreneur I try to do everything. Embracing my disability instead of hiding it is key. Now realizing that I dont have to do it all. The We Can Project at Queen’s University will be the extra help and hands that will help me grow as a person and business.

It is lovely to see how hard Katie worked at organizing her backpack project. We were able to donate 75 face masks for her backpacks.

One of my fav times of year is Autumn. And todays breeze is a remind that autumn is around the corner. We have been busy working on wholesale orders for masks. Once this big one of 500 is shipped we will start posting again. If you are interested in wholesale feel free to messages us. Have a lovely Sunday and hug your pooch. FYI todays temps in Kingston are perfect for talking a walk with your pup.

When I was a child my family taught me many things. One was to be independent and have my own pocket money. My mother instilled to save and purchase quality items, as they will last longer. In our mind it was better to have a few quality items than many items that would last. To look after what you have. My Grandma Yearwood was a tailor and taught me how to sew and create patterns. That way I could remake clothing and take something old and make it into something else. Also ...grandma Y had a amazing screened in porch and every spring it was my job to repaint the fin plant stands, tables and chairs. Both my Grandma Y and mother taught me how to cook and bake. Key was not wasting food. I hope my sharing inspires re-thinking, re-imaging and re-purposing. See more

Have you heard? Katies backpack project was on 1043 Fresh Radio. She was talking about the project and our BOGO sale.
