Beautiful Basia Basia is 9 and I have been grooming her for all those years. She is the best dog to groom, she jumps on the table and just lets me do my job. Sits, stands and gives lots of kisses.... The owners used to live in Halifax and travel to me then moved to outside Fall River and STILL travel to me so that I could groom her. Love her parents But I have to say goodbye today as realistically it is too far for me to travel to groom her. Heartbreaking, but I have lots of memories to cherish and pics of her. Thank you Basia for being the smartest, most beautiful pup in the world.

Hello my beautiful, fabulous, amazing, loyal customers, Please read all of this - it's going to be long I have some big news for you all. ... We have SOLD our house and are moving to our cottage fulltime in Chester. I'll explain. When I closed down during the heat of COVID-19, we moved to the cottage to get away from the city. And we found that we fell in love even more with the area and just being there by the lake. This is a big change for us as we have been in Colby for 11 years. BUT, I am not ready to say goodbye to Grooming and YOU my customers. So this is what I am offering. I will be driving back to Dartmouth 2 days a week and doing 'IN HOME' grooming for you. What does this mean: Well I would come to your house and groom your pup in the comfort of your home. I would bring my table and tools and all I would need is a Laundry Tub/Bathtub and a place to set up. Unfortunately I will only be able to offer this to customers that live in and around Colby Village/Cole Harbour as I need to keep the driving to a minimum. So that said, I am very sad that I will have to say goodbye to some of you and that is not easy. You have all truly touched my heart in some way and have helped me through some really really tough times over the past few years. And for that I am so eternally grateful. Some of the Pups I have a lifelong connection with and honestly it breaks my heart that I may not see them again. I have tears rolling down my face as I write this, but with change there is always a hard part - right? We are excited to start our new adventure in Chester and live a life that Austen and I would never have dreamed of 20 years ago when we lived in our tiny apartment in the UK. I have learnt over the past years that you really have to grab this life that we have and do what makes YOU happy. Please reach out if I haven't already been in contact about 'IN HOME' grooming. Hello my lovely people, First day back today and all went well!! I didn’t realize how much I missed my cuddles from the pups. ... I have tried to contact everyone and set up appointments- if I have missed you, I am sorry, please PM me for an appointment. If you are new customer, unfortunately at this tome I am not taking on anyone due to the extra cleaning etc... I am now booking for the 2nd week of July. I am starting to contact people this week to make appointments for starting the end of May. PLEASE be patient with me. It will have been 9 weeks since I have not been able to work. I have 80-90 clients to rebook into my schedule.... I am still feeling a bit uneasy about opening because the virus is still a threat. If at anytime the number of cases start to rise and I feel that myself, family and customers are going to be at risk I will close again. Appointments are going to take longer due to more cleaning in between dogs than usual. I am doing my best. I want to be open. I want to get the dogs groomed. Please be patient that’s all I ask. Personally, to keep everyone safe and including the dogs, there will be a large kennel placed at the front door. You will have to place your dog in the kennel without the collar and leash. Close the door. I will then groom your dog and just before pick up, place your pup in the kennel again. I will accept e-transfers only at this time or cash in an envelope if you don’t use e transfer. I really don’t like doing it this way, but to be open and to keep us all safe it is the only way. Thank you Be safe everyone All my love Jennie
