Framed up bare bones So stoked on this tank of a deck framed in Burnaby. I’m so glad the client put their foot down on keeping the Japanese maples. Not only were the Wells fun to frame but create a unique and atmospheric energy to this kickass outdoor space. Can’t wait to see the cladding go up!

A bit of rot repair at the Fell ave deck project. Old school multi profile column wrap pared with questionable downspout placement led this old beauty to age faster than intended. Fortunately the mouldings were still available at @standardbuilding and with a bit of creativity and cursing, we were able to pull off a half decent replacement of these post wraps. #renovation #oldmeetsnew @standardbuilding #carpenter

Some architectural concrete stairs formed up at the Waterloo Kitsilano project. All bar bent on site with a boulder stack. Next time renting a bar bender. Concrete was pumped and placed without catastrophe. A good day
