On November 11 at 11 AM, we observe a moment of silence to honour the courage, valour and sacrifice of the heroes who have served and continue to serve Canada during times of war and conflict. We are forever grateful for your service and sacrifice. Today and every day we remember. #RememberanceDay

Coronavirus has changed a lot of things, but one thing that’s still the same - falling is NOT a normal part of aging. Falls are the leading cause of injury among older adults with 20-30% of older Canadians experiencing at least one fall each year. There are steps, however, that you can take to reduce your risk. You can find FREE resources that provide information on a variety of topics related to fall prevention at Fall Prevention Month's website: https://www.fallpreventionmonth.ca/about #preventfalls #BeReadyBeSteady

Does the thought of cooking a healthy, balanced meal on weeknights stress you out? You’re not alone! A big challenge people face in preparing healthy meals is lack of time. Cook once, eat twice really helps with weekday meals. Basically it means that you cook one meal and repurpose the leftovers for a different meal. See below for some useful information from the Primary Care Dieticians’ Association to help you save time and money (no more throwing out leftovers!).
