This one is a work in progress but it’s a great example of setting the stage for comprehensive treatment. This lovely young patient is congenitally missing several adult teeth. She’s gone through orthodontic treatment and will require implants. However, rather than simply playing implants, we chose to prepare the teeth with provisional restorations in order to assess the aesthetics, occlusion and comfort first. That way, we will be able to ensure predictable final results.

Canine 13 was replaced for this lovely patient. She has a retained deciduous tooth that became loose and her canine was impacted. In this case, the implant was actually placed through the impacted tooth. This was the most non-invasive approach to achieve this result.
