Ms. Steph @stephaniealannah started dancing at the age of 4!! So, yes, she was practically born dancing!!! She went on to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Performance Production), at Ryerson University. As well as her Masters of Teaching from the University of Toronto (OISE). She is ADAPT certified in Tap & Jazz, Tap Dance Centre Certified, & holds her Acro Dance Teachers Association Junior Certification. She is also a Tap Exam coach. ... Ms. Steph is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers & Professional Adjudicators Alliance. She is the owner/ director of TNT Dance Convention & is an award winning dancer, teacher, & choreographer. This is her 12th season with us and we couldn’t imagine our BDC family without her. #facultyfriday #BarrieDanceConservatory

Next up we have Mr. Sacha, @sachaxpena, who is our Hip Hop teacher here at Barrie Dance Conservatory and has been a part of our faculty since 2015. Sacha has been trained in various styles such as Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Jazz, and was a competitive dancer for 11 years, 4 of them being at BDC. He is an award-winning choreographer & has trained at multiple conventions and workshops around the province. Another highlight is his @buildabeast.experience with Janelle Ginestra, a...nd William Wildabeast Adams, held in Los Angeles. Sacha has also worked with SYTYCD judge, Tre Armstrong, and award-winning Choreographer, Tony Tzar (2020). In 2016, he won first place on the Canada wide talent TV show, Galala. Currently Sacha is studying Kinesiology, and Health Science at York University. We are so proud of his commitment and dedication to continue his training as a hip hop educator & we love having him as a part of the BDC family. #facultyfriday
