Every day last year, approximately 75 Canadians heard the life-changing words, You have breast cancer. Thankfully more people are surviving breast cancer than ever before, but it’s still the most common cancer among Canadian women. You can help by encouraging screening as well as supporting those affected. Together we can help end breast cancer and save lives.

Today marks the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The day honours the lost children and survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process. We hope that you take some time to reflect on, learn about and support the Indigenous Community on National Truth and Reconciliation Day.
