It is time to stop feeding your houseplants. Short daylight hours slow down their metabolism and most of the added nutrients can not be absorbed. The exception is houseplants grown under artificial lights, which will require feeding throughout the winter months.

Seed Donations Wanted! Final call this season for seed donations to the Innisfil Seed Library. If you borrowed seeds, saved seeds or have leftover commercial seeds from this season please consider donating some until October 31st at the Cookstown & Lakeshore Branches of the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library. Drop off in library or book drop box.

Barrie Garden Club volunteers were at it again to make our area beautiful and better!! Thanks to everyone that helped clean up a big stretch of Highway 26 for the MTO’s adopt a highway program this weekend!!
