Our deepest sympathies go to the family of Constable Jeffery Northrup and our brothers and sisters at the Toronto Police Service. #HeroesInLife
A countries history is often rife with conflict, tragedy, victories and defeat. It is the road that we collectively paved. The road ahead is not complete, the decisions we make moving forward, can unite us as citizens of a nation. While diverse, we share humanity. We can learn. We can change. Today we reflect on Canada, for it's people and future.
The members of the Barrie Police Association ask you to tune in on January 21st, at 7:30 to discuss the opioid crisis that is affecting our community. Please share with everyone, to raise awareness.

Today, and everyday, our members and their families remember. We are humbled and grateful for the sacrifice of those who serve and continue to serve and those who gave all so we can have so much. You are NEVER forgotten.
From our members and their families have a Safe and Happy Halloween!
Remember Daylight Savings Time ends tomorrow morning at 2:00AM. Don't forget to turn your clocks back 1 hour. This is also a great time to check those batteries in the smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
All of our members and their families wish you a safe, happy and healthy Thanksgiving weekend.
It was 19 years ago today that smoke billowed into the sky in New York, Washington and Somerset County, Pennsylvania. 403 first responders made the ultimate sacrifice that day serving their communities and humankind. They were husbands and wives, parents and partners, sisters and brothers. We will never forget.
Today is the National Police and Peace officers memorial. While we can't be there physically, we continue to honour those sisters and brothers who gave all for their communities. Never Forgotten!!!!
