Yesterday after stopping at a service centre/rest stop located at 201 Fairview Rd, a citizen removed some medication from his car. A short time later, he found the medication bag containing hydromorp - 3mgs hydromorone - 2mgs was missing. Please call the Barrie Police Service immediately by dialing 911 if whereabouts is known.

The suspect has a unique Toronto Raptor's ball cap with a gold coloured crest and the scooter is blue. The #BarriePolice investigation into a structure collapse yesterday afternoon at 429 Yonge St. remains ongoing. Police can now confirm that a 77-year old male, who owned the home and had been demolishing it died as a result of injuries he sustained when the roof collapsed on him.
Talk about great teamwork earlier today as #BarriePolice Const. Hemington & #Barrie Animal Control Officer Jamieson located an injured fox on Walnut Cres. The fox was hobbling on three legs after being attacked by another animal. It was safely apprehended & taken to the OSPCA where it could be treated for the injury.
