2020 Annual Report - Barriere FR attended 69 callouts which is reduced from the 107 attended in 2019. This is due to an order from the Province to limit the amount of calls FR got sent to across BC. The Province has since rescinded this order for rural and remote FR groups.

We took possession of new Electronic road flares! These will be used on traffic accidents to provide our responders a safety bubble. Please slow down and pay attention!

Is your New Years Resolution to learn a new skill that makes a difference? Look no further we are RECRUITING! First Responder training is provided at no cost to you. Volunteering is a rewarding way to learn new skills while making a difference.

In light of the recent surge of COVID-19, Barriere FR is taking a proactive approach. Face to face meetings are canceled, general meetings will be via zoom, and mandatory mask wearing if safe distancing cannot be achieved. Every single persons actions have a meaningful impact, lets all do our part!

Barriere FR are out on the highway this evening attending to an MVA. The roads are slick and the snow is only getting worse.

Barriere FR were up early this morning to assist with a Motor Vehicle Incident. Our members are on call 24/7 to provide timely care when required!

Our First Responders were proud to assist Barriere Firefighters with their Walk For Cancer. It sounds like they had great success in raising funds! Great work team.
