Some long-awaited changes came through for the Alberta College of Art + Design on March 1 University status! Even though the college had been granting Bachelors of Design and Bachelors of Fine Art degrees since 1995, and Masters starting in 2015, as a College our education didn't have the same type of clout, funding, and perceived importance as a University does.
