New image of a familiar scene. I have shot this scene many times but I have never seen this kind of magenta toned light before. I actually had to desaturate the magenta to make it look realistic.

My first decent fall shot of 2021. Still looking forward to a little more colour.

Another image from the series of photos that I took earlier in January of this year. My goal with this image was to emphasize the contrast between orange in the cattails which the snow did not cling to and the bushes and trees in the background which were snow covered. There is a defined line between the two areas along the background.

One of my most favourite trees in all of Elgin County.

The winter version of the fall image from my previous post.

This is the fall version of two images that I took of the same scene. One shot in October and one in January. When I took the fall shot I marked the exact location with a stick because I thought that a fall/winter shot would make a good series. I couldn’t find the stick when I went to shoot the winter scene. But I was close.

Another image taken the same night as my previous post. Shot later in the evening after the storm had passed. I was standing on a hill with a zoom lens shooting down at this phenomenal little pond. I loved the complimentary tones of the sky versus the greens and yellows in the grasses and trees.
