This #MemberMonday we want to let you know that 541 - Eatery & Exchange has set up curbside service so you can safely get your takeout (and buy buttons!) without going inside. 541 Eatery & Exchange is a not-for-profit cafe that believes everyone deserves access to good food. Open Monday - Saturday 8am - 2pm, they have a great selection of breakfast, soup, salads, sandwiches, and baked goods all made in-house. Short on cash? No problem.They give people the opportunity to help... someone else pay for their meal by "buying buttons". Each button is worth $1, and anyone can use up to 5 buttons a day from the button jar to buy whatever they would like from the menu. It's important to celebrate small victories and we are absolutely celebrating this new garbage bin! We are so grateful for our neighbours at Helping Hands Street Mission and the way they care for and advocate for our community! And thank you to Nrinder Nann, Councillor Ward 3 Hamilton for being attentive to the needs of our street. It can seem minor but when community members ask for help to keep their area clean and the city responds, it gives everyone a little more pride in their home.
