Animal Shelter Bathurst will hold its Annual General meeting on Sunday, January 22 at 3 pm at the Daly Point Nature Reserve, 2015 Carron Drive. The purpose of this meeting is the election of officers for 2017. New members are welcomed! Refreshments and a door prize draw!/Le Refuge pour animaux de Bathurst tiendra son assemblée générale annuelle le dimanche 22 janvier à 15 h à la réserve naturelle de la Pointe Daly, 2015, promenade Carron. Le but de cette réunion est l'élection des dirigeants pour 2017. Les nouveaux membres sont les bienvenus! Rafraîchissements et un tirage pour un prix de présence!

The Bathurst Animal Shelter is happy to announce that it is coordinating with Parkwood Heights Elementary School to get more books into the hands of children. PHES Librarian Cathy Chapman will be stopping by the Bathurst Animal Shelter’s used book store this week to pick up the first of many boxes of books destined for her library and the students of PHES. The SPCA Used Books store is located at 695 St. Peter Avenue, across from Atlantic Superstore.... Bathurst Animal Shelter's Executive Director Amey Crawford : "We believe change starts with our young people, and including these amazing youth in the advocacy of animal welfare is something we hope will not only help animals in need presently, but all future animals.
