Battle at the Beach Ball Hockey Tournament

***2020 Update*** Unfortunately, the 2020 Battle at the Beach Ball Hockey tournament has been cancelled. We support this difficult decision and respect the hard work by our Health and Government officials who are guiding us through the Covid-19 pandemic. ... This tournament has always been a fun event that runs in conjunction with Sylvan Lakes 1913 days. Most importantly, we want our young athletes and their families to be safe and to stay healthy. Thanks again to all of our sponsors and volunteers who had signed on to help us again. The event is not possible without your support. The support from the Town of Sylvan Lake staff and council has been extremely important to us. Thank you. Refunds will be processed to all of the teams. Look for this over the coming days. So please continue to follow the guidelines put in place, enjoy your time with immediate family and stay active. Hopefully we will see you all really soon! ***2020 Tournament Update*** Hey Teams, We just wanted to give a quick update. ... First, we hope everyone is safe and becoming an expert at social distancing. Health and well being are the most important thing for our athletes and their families. With regards to our Battle at the Beach ball hockey tournament during our 1913 Days in Sylvan Lake on June 13 and 14. We are following Federal and Provincial guidelines. We have been in constant communication with the Town of Sylvan Lake. No decision has been made and we aren’t going to speculate on one. We have discussed a couple of other options: A. Move the tournament to a later date B. Cancel the 2020 event. We will continue to follow all direction by local, provincial and federal governments before any decision is official. Full refunds (minus credit card fees) will be given to teams: A. If the event is cancelled B. If the event date is changed C. If you just want to cancel your team registration D. Any reason not listed We are crossing our fingers this event will be played, but the health and safety of our teams and their families is far more important. As information becomes available to us, we will continue to provide updates on this page. One last comment, please support your (wherever you live) local businesses.
