Today in history: Dr. Roberta Bondar’s historic space flight, January 22 30, 1992. Dr. Bondar is an Honourary Life Member of Girl Guides of Canada Guides du Canada. This was the first time Girl Guide Cookies travelled into space to be eaten by an astronaut (I’m sure she shared with others).

The North Battleford Girl Guide Units stand in solidarity with the Indigenous women who wear ribbon skirts. Ribbon Skirts are a historical and traditional form of identity among First Nations' women.
