There are a family of eagles living nearby. There was also a family of ducks. There were 9 ducks at the start of the season and now there are on 3. Nature at its best and worst. We watched an eagle pick one of the ducks off about 6 feet from us one morning. It’s a sight to behold.

I love living on an island and being on Vancouver Island is an exceptional blessing. Someone gave me a framed print of this poem a few years ago and thought I would share this tonight. Anyone living on any island can surely identify.

I love tea and recently found a recipe that has quickly become my very favourite. 2 tbsps. Freshly grated ginger 1 tbsp. Honey 1/4 freshly squeezed lemon. Steep in your favourite tea pot for approx 3 minutes or more to your taste. ... Enjoy!!! There are so many variations of how to make this tea and I’m sure that all of them are good. Sample one or sample all - have fun! I would like to share some pictures of my recent recent passion for creating these adorable, and so whimsical crocheted rocks. I love photography. It is not something I spend a lot of time researching or learning about but I have a lot of fun taking what I think is just the right picture at the moment. I would like to share some of my favourites today.

Do you ever get frustrated with trying to organize your earrings and studs? I have been using this method for 2 years now and it has been perfect for me. Not saying it would work for everyone but it might be worth a try. I use these ice cube trays from the dollar store which have a soft rubber bottom and are easily pierced with an earring. Works great!
