2021 has kicked off and I can't get used to that. Jason has us in another lockdown which I'm getting used to these days. Welcoming a new year is a super opportunity for you to get clear on what you want to achieve, where do you want to get to and get excited! Dial in all the key areas of your life: Personal, Work, Fitness and Relationships! ... Take out a pen and paper, yes do it! And write down your goals not just run over them in your head, k do it now! So here at work, we have a new Driver Examiner system in place in Alberta, back to private examiners. We have an Examiner in our office doing Class 5 Road Tests 3 x per week so go here to book: https://www.albertadriverexaminer.ca?registry=491 We were to be able to do Class 5 Advanced but that got taken away by Jason somehow. We are working on bringing that to Wainwright so our kids can advance into a non GDL license. Talk to your MLA as I would really love to see this in Wainwright!! AB Transportation originally had us on the list that could do this test but then a month later gone! Insurance is evolving all the time as well... Vehicle insurance will be more and more user based insurance. If you drive responsibly then you will be rewarded with better rates. And yes we are being surcharged for hubby's two convictions at the moment, next year will be better! Have a great week and month and set those goals!!!

Well folks, we are in our 2nd lockdown, I'm not very good at these things that is for certain! This is what we know for now: Our business is allowed to remain open and our Insurance Department can now only be by appointment only. So call to book your appointment with one of our Brokers before you visit our office please and thanks for your cooperation. And of course masks are mandatory in all of Alberta now. The letters that Expire for your plates this month are kind of what ...a cat says. ME O W. So ME as in Melnyk, O as in Oliphant and W as in West. You can sign up for e-reminders as well and you will get a Text or e-mail to remind you to renew. In January the Month and Year Validation tabs for your vehicles will become obsolete. This was indeed crazy news to me but here it is. Your registration is all that you will show if you get stopped by the RCMP's. It will have your expiry date on it of course. We are also working at getting our new Driver Examiner up and running for January. We will be able to do Advanced Road Tests in 2021. Stay tuned to the roll out date for this all getting set up. November is over dang near! The letters that expire this month are: K as in King and P as in Peterson! Here we are back in a bit of a lockdown again. Let's hope Edmonton gets their cases under control in the next three weeks. I can't wait to hear the words: ""Please fasten your seatbelts" again as I fly off to somewhere warm preferably Puerta Valllarta! We will be offering Road Tests for Class 5A in the New Year which we have not been able to do ever before so that is great! ...We will have more info soon on this subject as the Province puts the Driver Examiners back into the private business world again.
