Baxter Animal Hospital 26.11.2020

Baxter Animal Hospital will be entering into a "closed waiting room" policy, effective on December 26, 2020 as per the Ontario government mandate. At this point, the government is requiring us to do so until January 11, 2021. This means that pets will be allowed to enter the hospital but owners will not (they will need to wait in their cars during the exam). The veterinarian will contact the owner via telephone call to discuss the patient. We will continue to offer all of ...our regular services. Curbside pickup will be available for medication refills and food pick up. You can also order online and have food delivered directly to your door using our online vet store. Please be patient with our staff during this time. The "closed waiting room" mandate will require more time to process each appointment. Our staff will be working hard to keep the flow moving smoothly. If you have questions, feel free to comment or call us at 705-674-9191. Thank you for your understanding. See more

As it’s coming up to Christmas, advent calendars are a popular thing to have in your home. Most of them contain chocolate, keep in mind that chocolate is toxic to your pets. You can purchase advent calendars specifically for your furry friends. Here is Sako showing off his advent calendar full of dog treats. #adventcalendar #dogsofinstagram #vetmed #education #petfriendly #holidays #treats #spoiled #sako

Did you know that cats can develop arthritis after the age of 7 years! Dogs can be even earlier than this depending on breed.
