Our trio resumed practice on June 14th 2020, but in the open air to protect us from COVID 19. This year's Louisa St. picnic concert (usually at the end of July) is cancelled, to protect us and to protect you. Also, we don't have the rehearsal time left to put together a program. In July we will begin accepting invitations to play in the open air outside local seniors' homes, nursing homes, day centres and the hospice. We will let you know where and when, so you can listen (at a suitable distance).
If you're sitting at home craving interaction and missing your music-making activities - I'm running a virtual Sing-Along every second Tuesday starting next wee...k (April 14), under the auspice of Lakeshore Arts. It's free and open to all. We'll be reprising songs the Local Vocals have done in the past year. Lots of familiar tunes including - Cohen's Hallelujah, Blue Skies, Only You, Down to the River, Everybody Loves a Lover and more. You may not know all of them - but that's ok cuz you'll be on mute! You will just hear me (and Brigham Phillips' recorded accompaniments) and see the other choristers if you want to. We'll go over the melodies and harmonies of 3-4 songs each week. Email me if you're interested and I'll send you the details to join. [email protected] Feel free to share. xox stay safe and healthy everyone Mary See more

Our trio will be entertaining the Bayfield Garden Club at their annual turkey dinner on Monday November 19th 2018 at Renegades. We play some Corelli during the cocktail hour, and after dinner, with Shelagh Sully’s help, we will accompany a singalong of well known songs, Christmas and otherwise. We are looking forward to it.
