Since 1921, Bay of Quinte Golf and Country Club has provided a traditional and challenging experience for golfers of all skill levels. Our par-71 championship, 18 hole course features 48 well-maintained bunkers and 6 large ponds that come into play on 8 different holes over the 6,000 + yards manicured course. Play Away!

Bay of Quinte Golf and Country Club was first designed by Watson in 1921, starting with just 9 holes. It quickly became recognized as a premier facility, attracting golfers from across Ontario and New York State, many who came by yacht across Lake Ontario to play our course. The Bay of Quinte Golf & Country Club along with the community of Belleville have suffered a tremendous loss this week with the passing of longtime member and incredible man, Max Haggarty. Max was a member and supporter of the Bay of Quinte Golf and Country Club for well over 50 years. An integral part of the Canadian trucking industry, Max started 'International Truckload Services' with a single truck in 1987. I.T.S. as it's commonly known, is now one of the largest in Canad...a with over 400 trucks and 1400 trailers, operating terminals across the Province of Ontario. The long-haul trucking fleet delivers 1200 truckloads of consumer and retail goods every week across North America. Its client list includes Walmart, Procter & Gamble, Shoppers Drug Mart, W.T. Hawkins Cheezies and a laundry list of well known grocery stores. Max showed tremendous generosity in his life, particularly in his dealings with the Bay of Quinte and local charities throughout the Quinte area. When tragedy struck North America on numerous occasions, Max and I.T.S. were there to help. He arranged truckloads of relief supplies for victims of both Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and for the wildfires at Fort McMurray in Alberta. Max was the saviour of the signature event at the Bay of Quinte Golf & CC, the "Haggarty Cup" which bears his name and will be played over the weekend of September 11-13 in 2020. Max still holds the most team victories in the history of the event at 23, both as a captain and player. As we bid farewell to a true friend and loyal supporter, we must find the strength to focus on the positives he has left behind. There are special people in life that never leave us, even after they're gone. Rest in Peace Max, you'll be dearly missed.

Congratulations to Steve Carr who won the Men’s Senior Club Championship this weekend with a 2 day total of 144 (74-70)!! Steve beat Dave Canning by 1 (71-74 - 145) to WIN his 5th consecutive Senior Men’s title! Really impressive stuff. Congratulations to Steve on a fantastic accomplishment! Ron Prins won the NET trophy at 67-70 - (137).

We are glad that with a few modifications, you are able to enjoy the beautiful weather and the course. We also wanted to let you know that Nineteen Restaurant & Patio is now OPEN! Although we cannot offer a full sit-down dining experience with servers, we can offer you amazing food and drinks on our beautiful patio. This year we have to do things a little differently, you will order your meal from the bar and seat yourself. We will then deliver the food to your table. We have set-up a socially distanced patio for you to enjoy your meals safely. We are excited to welcome you back to enjoy some great eats during your golfing experience.
