Today, #LouisRielDay is being celebrated across the Métis homelands. In February, I was proud to join my brother @WabKinew call to recognize Louis Riel’s legacy as a founder of the province of Manitoba, a father of confederation and a champion of the rights of the Métis people.

All 3 parties just voted against an NDP motion that called for a wealth tax to pay for things that would help people like a universal basic income or pharmacare.
