Bayshore Home Health in Ottawa organized an outdoor bake sale with the local businesses in their office tower. As people from the community visited the bank, pharmacy, walk-in clinic and esthetician they were invited to purchase the baked goods. The funds raised by this bake sale went to "A Friendly Voice" which is supported by the local ROSSSS (Rural Ottawa South Support Services). Volunteers at A Friendly Voice phone seniors who may be feeling lonely or isolated. Through their conversations volunteers encourage and support seniors to engage with their community.
