Rent relief is coming for some businesses dealing with #COVID19. The federal government announced some details on the implementation of its Canada Emergency Com...mercial Rent Assistance (CECRA). Several measures that we asked for were a part of today's announcement: the program is retroactive to April and will provide rent forgiveness rather than just loans. However, we're concerned that the program may be too complicated and too reliant on landlords. And the 70% revenue reduction threshold will leave many hard-hit businesses without the relief they need. Rest assured we will continue fighting for more help to cover those falling through the eligibility cracks of CECRA, just as we continue to the same with CEBA and the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy. https://bit.ly/3axIeMH
