FEDS EXTEND DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR THE DISABILITY TAX CREDIT, receive $600 disability benefit - The federal government is extending until Dec. 31 the deadline for Canadians to apply for the disability tax credit (DTC) in order to receive the Covid-19 one-time $600 payment for persons with disabilities, the government said on Friday.
