They are very helpful to strengthen your posture muscles and reduce pain around that area! Shoulder blade squeeze... Sit or stand up tall with your arms at your sides. Keep your shoulders relaxed and down, not shrugged. Squeeze your shoulder blades together. Hold for 6 seconds, then relax. Repeat 8 to 12 times. See more

Yet when I question my patients what they think about the impact of running on long term joint health, the response is often running causes joint degeneration. But what does the evidence say? A study found in 114,829 runner...s, 3.5% of recreational runners had hip or knee osteoarthritis (OA); interestingly 10.2% of sedentary individuals and 13.3% of elite runners who participated in international competition had hip or knee OA. This highlights recreational runners have chance of developing hip and knee OA than nonrunners & competitive runners.
