Meet Mike Kryschuk of @belle_morte_design who challenges the concept of traditional beauty, we find it refreshing! Find his unique beauties at Bazaar Artisan Market Tuesday-Sunday 10-5PM. "What inspires me is creepy aesthetics, skulls and just plain weird stuff. I started creating my products about 2 years ago (about the same time I started my skull collection). I was molding skulls I had collected (all ethically sourced of course) and making resin copies of them. I know the...re are people that like the look of skulls but are squeamish, can't afford them, are morally against it or just want something a bit different. I feel that I can make something that can go from possibly morbid to cute by playing with colours and sparkles. These are meant to be an appreciation of life and show there is a beauty in death and it isn’t something to be feared but is a natural process. I encourage you to take a look at my work for yourself, I think you will see what I mean." #newshop #bazaarartisanmarket #downtownbelleville #supportlocal #bayofquinte #downtowndistrict #artisans #boutique #shoppingwithsoul #thoughfulgifts

The Oversized Cardigan is now available at Bazaar! @theoversizedcardigan has the best hair sweaters. Hello! I’m Martina, the maker behind The Oversized Cardigan. I came to knitting during college, I began by making gifts for people who knew I was a knitter and from there sprung the dream to make beautiful goods from the most beautiful unique fibres. I choose hand-dyed indie yarn makers from Canada, and some unique makers from my travels and opt for natural fibres rather than synthetics.

Welcome photographer Brian Meech to Bazaar! Capture some of his unique perspective from his artist bio below.. Ihave been trying to capture the ultimate photo for over 30 years. Starting with a diploma from Algonquin College’s photography program to numerous work shops, including Zone VI studios in Vermont and New York based photographer Larry Fink the photo still alludes me. With numerous shows under my belt the latest being 1/Time at the Parrott Gallery and countless hours... printing custom black and white for exhibits at The National Archives, and the National Gallery of Canada also the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography I still have a thirst to get the ultimate shot. Currently I’m working on a series depicting working people and also I am constantly taking landscapes in which I try to incorporate the human element. Nature doesn’t work in straight lines, I like to show the juxtaposition of human’s need for straight forward thinking against the randomness of Mother Nature. Find Brian's work at Bazaar Tuesday-Sunday 10-5PM #bazaarartisanmarket #newshop #bayofquinte #downtownbelleville #shoplocal #thoughfulgifts #photographer
