B&B Hunting, Guide and Services 29.12.2020

Regardless the damage to the hunting site I’ve decided to move forward . I refuse to let this bother me because I know that’s what they were doing by causing this damage . So we’ll set it up again this year so they can destroy it all over again . Keeping that in mind I won’t let them bully me into leaving .. we’ll be back this year better then last year .

Well we got the duck boxes done , salt licks out but when we showed up to the blind and the feeder . It was disappointing. Someone had smashed the blind , bent all the chairs and totally destroyed the computerized feeder, good day with the kids but disappointed in some human beings .

Today we’re headed to do some conservation work . Every year we take and every year we give back more then we take . So today I’m pleased to be joining up with CWTF member Jerry Veley and his 2 young kids and Scott Harrison and his son Evander who is our intern , We decided to keep the group small and part of our regular bubble . We’ll still be practicing safe distancing and regular protocols , but we’re going to be cleaning and preping duck boxes for the yearly returning w...aterfowl migration , and refilling the hopper on the deer feeder and putting out salt licks . Every year I look forward to cleaning , inspect repairing and replacing wood duck boxes . All of these boxes were built by Tom Morrisey, a good friend and mentor who is no longer with us but taught me the important of conservation , giving back and sharing this precious knowledge. Every year I feel proud when we open up the boxes and count the eggs and get to check out the screech owls hiding out . This year a new crew and some awesome new CWTF and B&B hunting team members who have not yet had the please of doing duck boxes and doing are part for conservation. So join our journey via the internet as we bring you pics and video as we deploy our one and only Smurt Yep you heard me right our one and only Smurf’ . So stay tuned to our Facebook page to check it out and find out how we give back by participating in conservation and doing are part . Also huge thank to Fred Perry and Phil Clarke for their knowledge and feedback on deer conservation . Huge thanks to Joe Arends for building a demo / replament duck box in a DU design . . See more

Here it is folks just in time for Christmas . This spring one of our CWTF members harvested this beautiful bird . When he was done taking the meat , beard , tail fan and Spurs, we asked for the left over feather. He brought us an entire bag of wing , chest and other assorted feathers . Then we found a local CWTF member who is a also a member of the local fly fishing club and asked him to make a set of flies for fly fishing . The final result was these beautiful flies hand ma...de , hand tied and hand crafted flies . Huge thanks to Steve the CWTF member who harvested the beautiful bird and to Steve Viznioski the local CWTF member who made these beautiful and awesome flies . We’ve also gone to Jean Morrisey and asked her to do some custom burning work to the wooden gift box . When it done , it will be totally hand crafted and made as well as made from feathers from a locally harvested bird . So we post it once the art work is done but here it is . We’ll post it for $10.00 you’ll get a CWTF sticker and a chance to win this set of custom hand made fishing flies by Steve Viznioski in a custom gift box decorated by local Artist Jean Morrisey.
