Truthfully, I haven’t felt like myself lately. I often catch myself saying to Mark, I feel anxious and I don’t know why, I feel odd or off. Although I find myself to be mainly self motivated, I thrive off of structure, routine and connection. All of which have seen to be lost. While I plan to take time over the holidays to rest and restore my body I also plan to kickoff January surrounded *virtually* by amazing people! I plan to shed the habits in 20...20 that are no longer serving me and I open my arms to a transition in my health and wellness. Join me in Creating Balance! Here it is: BOOTY BURN! Fair warning: your quads are going to burn too! 20/30/40/30/20s ... So 5 rounds total. The first round do each exercise for 20s. Movement is Medicine! Your body truly wants you to be well and wants to support you. It is communicating with you through symptoms, feelings and sensations. Are you anxious? Afraid? Restless? Our world is showing us exactly which feelings need our attention in these moments. Ultimately it is not about having the time, it is about creating the time and bringing awareness to these emotions. Did you know exercise is proven to release chemicals in our brain that make our body feel good and can even have beneficial effects on depression and anxiety? Next time you feel those suppressing emotions, try a walk, maybe some light stretching or any type of movement that is going to bring you unity within yourself.
