Peninsula Co-op has been a wonderful partner to Big Big Brothers Big Sisters of Victoria, supporting our mentoring programs across the Capital Regional District and in the Comox Valley. They are community-focused and willing to work with local non-profit organizations to find solutions that keep everyone moving forward. Peninsula Co-op plays an integral role in providing hundreds of young people across Vancouver Island with a much needed adult in their life - someone who can ignite their potential and help them reach their goals. For most of these children, life has been filled with loss, trauma and adversity. Thanks to Peninsula Co-op's financial support, time spent with their mentor now means they have time to laugh again, time to be a kid again, and time to plan for the future.

Our National Youth Mentoring Advisory Council (NYMAC) is organizing conversations with Members of Parliament and Senators to discuss issues impacting youth. "Big Banter - A Canadian Youth-led Conversation" is an event where youth are invited to join in conversation with politicians at the federal level.
