Bradford Board of Trade 31.12.2020

"Effective Thursday, January 14, 2021at 12:01 a.m., the government is issuing a stay-at-home order requiring everyone to remain at home with exceptions for essential purposes, such as going to the grocery store or pharmacy, accessing health care services, for exercise or for essential work. This order and other new and existing public health restrictions are aimed at limiting people's mobility and reducing the number of daily contacts with those outside an immediate household. In addition to limiting outings to essential trips, all businesses must ensure that any employee who can work from home, does work from home." A message from the President of the Bradford Board of Trade: "The BBT Board of Directors is a group of volunteers from the BWG business community who spend hours and hours putting together events, initiatives, and efforts of advocacy. We want all local businesses, whether members of the Bradford Board of Trade or not, to thrive. As the President of the BBT, I am so proud of the work we have done to develop partnerships with the Town of BWG and other local organizations. Many ...of us also actively work on other committees and boards in BWG. It is important to us to contribute to the good of the community where we work and raise our families. At this time, during the COVID-19 pandemic, our advocacy efforts have been focused on moving, not only companies but the entire community, towards recovery. The Bradford Board of Trade strives to bring people together to support, encourage, celebrate, and collaborate. We are always open to positive, professional feedback and constructive ways to help our members and everyone in BWG. We do not, however, condone or entertain unprofessional and disparaging attacks that lack substance and actionable, positive steps towards assisting the community at large. We thank each and every business for their trust in us, the Town of BWG for their support, and of course, residents of this great community who are doing their best as well to nurture local businesses. This is the time for us to work together! Thank you." Tina Martins-Morrison On behalf of the Bradford Board of Trade Board of Directors
