Wheelchair Lacrosse Information from the BCLA today. The BC Lacrosse Association, in partnership with Wheelchair Lacrosse USA, is excited to offer our first ever BC Wheelchair Lacrosse Camp. Ryan Baker and Bill Lundstrom, Co-Founders of Wheelchair Lacrosse USA, will be coming to the Burnaby Lake Arena to run a special clinic/camp on Saturday, March 23rd (9:00am - 3:00pm) and Sunday, March 24th, 2019. Saturday 9:00am - 3:00pm and Sunday 9:00am - 2:00pm. Did we mention it is FR...EE? If you're looking for a fun new way to challenge yourself, in the game of lacrosse, we welcome you to come try wheelchair lacrosse. This camp is available for anyone interested, with or without a disability. Sport Chairs, sticks, helmets will all be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own gear. The BCLA / Subway U18 Provincials along with the Womens and U11 Provincial Tournaments have been officially canceled for this upcoming long weekend, scheduled to be hosted by the PCFLL in Burnaby.

Unfortunate news...The BCLA/Subway Provincial Field Lacrosse Championships for both the U13 & U15 boys youth scheduled for this upcoming weekend in Nanaimo/Ladysmith has been officially cancelled. "Thank You" to to all the Nanaimo Field Lacrosse Members for your effort and time put forth to host this year, so sorry the weather will not accomadate.

Logo Contest Alert: Want to make your mark on the international lacrosse stage? The 2022 FIL World Men’s Lacrosse Championship is seeking submissions for its official logo. The winning entry will receive two complimentary tournament passes and the prestige of having the logo shared on the world stage. Preference will be given to artists and designers who are able to incorporate Indigenous culture and local landmarks and icons into the design.... The deadline for nominations is March 15, 2019. They should be sent to [email protected] with the email subject title Logo Contest. A shortlist will be compiled later this winter with a final decision incorporating public input to be made later this year.
