The Vernon Lawn Bowling Club is host to its 17th Annual, "Funtastic" Mixed Triples Lawn Bowling Tournament being held this weekend June 27th, 28th & 29th at the Vernon LBC located in beautiful Polson Park. Once again, we have 20 teams from throughout the Interior Clubs registered for this most prestigious event! The Entry Fees collected ($1,200.00) is turned back to the Winners and Runners-Up in each of the 5 Flights, following a 6 game, 12 ends per game, Round Robin format.

Salmon Arm LBC is open with spring season bowling times set at Tues-Wed-Fri at 1:15 pm. Evening bowling on Mon-Thurs to come once the weather gets hotter.

The Vernon Lawn Bowling Club hosted their In - House "Doubles Tournament" this past week. Congratulations to Joan Reardon and Frank Anderson (S) who won the event, with Betty Hubbard and John McKay (S) coming in as runner's up. A BBQ closed out the tournament, where those in attendance enjoyed a wonderful time. Considering the recent "flooding" of the greens due to a heavy rainfall, they played quite well. Thanks to the greens staff and club volunteers who worked so hard to b...ring them back to playing condition. The VLBC's next event us the 16th Annual, Funtastic, Mixed Triples.
