This is what is happening on the Bondurant, Wyoming elk feed grounds. This photo was taken yesterday. Eighteen elk were slaughtered by wolves in one night this ...week. Sixteen were calves that were not eaten at all. Killed and left for dead. The other were two pregnant cow elk. The wolves ripped the fetuses from the elk most likely while they were still alive and were left for dead. Again, they did not eat the cows. This makes nearly 70 elk on our feed grounds alone. We must use common sense, decency and real conversations to regulate this issue and get wolf management back into state hands. The elk need our help and it is time we do something to protect them from this senseless slaughter. https://www.google.com//wyoming-wolf-pack-elk-/index.html See more

Yesterday Pacific Balance Pinniped Society saw over 175 people ask to join! I review each members ask to to make sure they are not a Troll or Ethiopian Prince l...ooking for us to send our banking information to? Some I dig into their profile to see what groups they follow. I like seeing the environmentalist supporters joining, for I know they are getting a great reality check of understanding by reviewing our posts in group and most of all your comments. I did notice one thing interesting yesterday, many of the new members are from the fish farming industry? Oh no! Check your emotions and hear me out before commenting, so that if you do comment, it is well thought out and respectful. Yes respectful, for I am proud to state our group is very diverse indeed with no infighting between user groups. Can you believe we have evolved to a group in a few short weeks where sport fisherman, commercial fisherman, Native food fisherman, environmentalists, committed salmon enhancement personal, processors, resource department personal and even politicians are actually getting along? What is truly amazing is we are a united group that all agrees on one thing, that a pinniped harvest is conducted now! I am sure many of you have noticed, we that are interested in a pinniped harvest to ensure healthy salmon and other fin fish stocks, seem to be getting along daily within the groups comments? This is amazing people! I know y'all are making me proud and I awake with fresh wind in me sails to push on with the team and for the team I belong to in order to get the harvest going! Mind you I as administrator have had to whip a few with the text-o-cat-o-nine-tails and hang a few offenders who could not keep their emotions in check from the yardarm. Afterwards I deleted their verbal diarrhea and blocked them. Such is the the way I have to run our deck like any other captain to keep peace, respect and cooperative communication. Now let us look at our new members that are from the fish farming industry? They are farm crew, boat crew and processors. Just your average Joe Canadian who works daily or on a shift, but on time-off from work, enjoys all that we enjoy when it comes to the salmon and other fin fish resources. Heck, some are even commercial fishers or sport fishing guides balancing two jobs to make ends meet to enjoy life better. Hmmm, sounds like they are just like you doesn't it? That being said, this group is about uniting to create a force that will be reckoned with that we will support one another to see a pinniped harvest become a reality! A reality that is not some minuscule event that fizzles away after a few media appearances, where some politician shakes a few hands. We are striving to bring balance into our animal kingdom and hell or high water we will achieve the goal! In our cooperation we will re-develop an age old industry that see's pinnipeds as another utilized and sustainable industry. The coarse is set people, where we need not kiss butt and welcome people into our group daily as other groups do. We will though, accept all that share our interest and common goal of success. In this group we do not judge, condemn or disrespect anyone based on career choice or God forbid the color of their skin or race. I have had my share of Bubba-Bigot to date and I give them no grace in my replies, seeing as I am an Indian who has always lived with salmon and other fin fish I have accessed in all fisheries. If you have an opinion about something not focused on our goal of a pinniped harvest, I know there's other Facebook Groups, organizations and society's out there where your opinion is welcomed. Here in this group, it's tow the line of our focused coarse set for a pinniped harvest. This post is in honor of my second cousin and his shipmate who died during the sinking of Atlantic Harvester just north of Campbell River as they were returning from their work servicing the salmon farming industry. That being said, please SHARE the heck out of this post and link to Pacific Balance Pinniped Society into other groups you belong to! More members are needed to ensure we are that force of change that has to be reckoned with because it's diverse, unified, but most of all supports one another!

Here’s the Buck Fight video from 2011! I sold this footage to Eastmans and never posted it, they had bought the rights to it for 3 years and I completely forgot about it! Sorry but this is raw footage unedited just like the day it happened!
