Next week we're looking forward to introducing you to our first virtual farm tour host, Jared de Dood! Jared is a third generation dairy farmer, helping his parents and brother milk 105 Holsteins and grow alfalfa, grass, corn, barley and wheat on a total of 300 acres in Grindrod (north of Vernon). He loves being in a dynamic farming family that has been willing to jump into agritourism, new products, and their own independent ventures - including Jared's own operation of 4500 certified organic layers on 27 acres.
