As part of the virtual MagsWest conference over the past two weeks, I had the opportunity to sit in on a particularly engaging presentation on freelance writing with Jennifer Van Evra. She is an award-winning Vancouver writer, broadcaster and UBC writing instructor and her work has appeared in publications including The Globe and Mail, the Vancouver Sun, Vancouver magazine and Metropolis.
