Both ladies are BCGA members and the BCGA enjoys strong partnerships with both COPA and the local flying clubs. The BCGA Honour Coin was introduced as a way for members to show their appreciation with a token of thanks that is lasting and meaningful. The recipient can then keep the coin or pass it on to another deserving individual at some point. #Repost @yellowplanepilot as he calls it how it is and talks about the wonder that is GA. Here it is, another 3/4 view of my airplane! Marvel at the variety of my pictures! Though this one does include the sweet 'Ho that @ryan_v_h brought over from Langley. My attendance at the @bcgeneralaviation AGM wouldn't have been possible without that little yellow airplane. I'm out of leave days for the year so it took a solid week of scheming along with considerable luck ...for me to have the day off (don't ask, my job is weird). Without the airplane coming down to Kamloops would have entailed a six hour drive each way with an overnight in a hotel. Ain't nobody got time for that! My silly little airplane had me down to Kamloops in an hour and forty (thank you tailwind!) and back home in plenty of time to sleep in my own bed before getting back to the grind. It's easy to think of small general aviation airplanes only in terms of weekend recreation, adventure, and training, but they can be practical tools too. My small airplane productivity record is accomplishing tasks in four cities scattered around the province and still being home to sleep in my own bed. Not one of those cities had scheduled airline service. Small airplanes open up a plethora of destinations that the airlines don't serve.
