We are sad to share that due to COVID-19 and our ongoing renovations, there will be no treats or tricks available at Government House this Halloween. Wishing everyone a safe and spooky Halloween and we hope to see you next year!

As of October 5, the main gate entrance at Government House will be closed due to construction. The grounds remain open daily from dawn to dusk and can be accessed at the north west gate on Rockland Ave. The main gate will reopen December 24, 2020. Giving back while social distancing! Government House Executive Director Jerymy Brownridge was delighted to present a donation to Vice President, Philanthropy and Communications, Mandy Parker of Broadmead Lodge Proceeds came from Rudi's Tea Room sales at Government House in support of this valuable community resource. Thank you to our dedicated patrons for coming out and showing your support!

Tomorrow is Rudi Day at Rudi's Tea Room! In honour of the late Rudi Hoenson's birthday, all proceeds from dessert sales will go to the Veterans Memorial Lodge at Broadmead Care. Hope to see you there!

We are delighted to share that our grounds have returned to regular hours of dawn until dusk! We ask that you continue to respect COVID-19 related guidelines and recommendations, and practice social distancing with staff and Friends working on the property. A reminder that Rudi's Tea Room will be closed for one day on Friday, June 19, 2020, and will return to regular hours the following Tuesday.

Rudi's Tea Room will be CLOSED for one day on Friday, June 19, due to BC Hydro maintenance requirements. We will be open for business as usual on Tuesday, June 23, from 10:00 am-3:00 pm.

Jeans are not typically part of the dress code at Government House but the Operations team were happy to #JeanUp for BC Children's Hospital!

Rudi's Tea Room opens for the summer season on May 20! This year we are doing take-out only, but Executive Chef Aleks Kornat and Sous Chef Vince Capitano have put together a delightful menu, including some new treats to take home and share. Learn more: https://tinyurl.com/y7hnapmo

The grounds of Government House will reopen with new limited hours on May 14, 2020.
