BCIT JDC West is hosting a public workshop for all students at BCIT to learn and hone their skills in any Q&A session! Dr. Steve Yallouz will be running a workshop in hopes to answer these following questions many students wonder: How do you respond/address a question? What do you have to look out for during Q&A session? How do you think on the spot to answer any question? We recognize that this particular skill set is not easy to learn but through this workshop, we hope to guide all students in their future career for more question periods to come!

being drunk is not a consent. WAVAW is the largest RAPE crisis center in British Columbia. BCIT JDC West choose WAVAW to be our choosen Charity for our Chillin' for Charity event this year. Rape survivors might not be someone you encounter on a daily basis but they are real. Cases had increase especially with COVID-19 took place. Even with a little bit of your support, it will help the center support them.... In addition, our team at BCIT JDC West would be doing something in return once we reach certain milestones. Such as, doing a dance cover/tik tok with weird outfits. All proceeds go directly through WAVAW.

BCIT JDC West is hosting Chillin for Charity event, raising charity dollars to donate to WAVAW (Women Against Violence Against Women). While supporting a cause for charity, we hope to bring some light and joy to everyone in hopes to brighten up your day.... Each team within BCIT JDC West have set amount of milestones they hope to achieve and to provide incentive to our donors, we are doing a challenge depending where each team has reached according to their donation goal.
