It's a time of change for everyone and we are rolling with the punches here at BCIT Journalism! We converted to an online format during the COVID-19 pandemic. Students like Caden Fanshaw, Ali Pitargue, and Mat Pereira are working from home using mobile gear and digital tools to continue storytelling. More than ever before, they are seeing the critical importance of Journalism.

It's an opportunity for students to attend workshops and learn from inspiring Indigenous journalists in the industry. This event was founded by one of our amazing alumni, Steve Sxwithul'txw! Congrats to all on another exciting day, bringing journalism to these important youth!
What a successful shoot at BCIT Aerospace Campus! Journalism students spent the last two weeks working on this episode of BCIT In Focus, learning about the latest in the aviation field. A special thanks to the BCIT students, staff, and alumni who gave us their time and space!
